  • Act III Crucible - active listening and annotation
  • Act III SGQ's answer with text evidence
  • Act II quiz on Tuesday:  review all packet materials and read over summary/annotations in your book
Tuesday Nov 17
  • Latin Roots Discussion -- it is your responsibility as students to memorize the roots/definitions provided by your teacher.  Each of you should have pasted the Roots Set in your Writer's notebook when it was provided. You have weeks to memorize the words/roots prior to the test. Just like in Math and Science - sometimes you just have to memorize information :)
  • Membean - 75 minutes is expected outside of class for a quiz grade
  • Grammar:  we have been reviewing the Parts of Speech up to this point which you learned in 5 -7 grade.  This is not new material.  As we enter into sentence structure and new material - we will be covering/learning the new information in class
  • Crucible Act Two Quiz
  • Write Summaries for each Act in your writers notebook - 7-9 sentences per Act - Due Tomorrow
  • Note:  Latin Roots Set 2 Retake in Friday AM at 7:45.  You must let me know you are interested in a retake PRIOR to the retake day.

  • Ck Act 1/2/3 Summaries
  • Get Vocab for Act III
  • Ck Act III SGQ's
  • If your class has NOT finished Act III, we will finish reading Act III - complete Act III summary for Thursday /Act III Sgq's
Thursday Nov 19

  • Act IV active listening
  • Teacher Provided answers for Structure conflict chart #1-13
  • ACT IV Summary if we finish the Act
  • Conflict bubble chart for Proctor
  • 8-11 for Cause Effect Worksheet

Friday Nov 20
Retake for Latin Roots Set Two 7:45 AM -- you must have discussed a retake with Mrs. Watson prior to the retake

Parts Of Speech REVIEW for FALL Final Due Dec 13

Students please use your grammar book as needed for additional assistance in completing your Parts of Speech Review for Fall Final.  Please cut and paste the review and print it out at home and complete.  We will go over the answers together in class on Nov 14th Monday.   Due Monday November 14th.
