  • Persuasive Unit/AF Ch 1 Test 40 Multiple choice Questions
  • TO STUDY FOR THE TEST:  It is an application level test. All multiple choice covering Persuasion and Ch 1 of Animal Farm 

With several different sections:
1.  Be able to define key Persuasive terms- all in Writer's notebook pages 26-29 / Elements of an argument ( page 30 in Writer's notebook)= Claim, Support (facts, examples, anecdotes, quotes, statistics) opposing viewpoint, counterargument:  NOT MATCHING but Multiple choice
You will be given a quote/Passage from the book and have to identify which persuasive techniques are being used.
2. You will be given quotes from commercials and have to analyze according to Persuasive elements listed above
3.  Plot/Character/Setting questions from Chapter One of Animal Farm
4.  Old Major's Speech for Persuasive elements Pages 26-30 in Writers notebook. 
Only 40 questions so you will have to really know, understand, and be able to apply all the Persuasive concepts
