Monday August 29th

  • Non- Fiction piece "The Cutting of my Long Hair"
  • Bloom's Taxonomy Analysis:  Level 1,2,3 Write three questions per level pertaining to " TCOMLH" in your Writer's notebooks, Journal side Page two.  Utilize Bloom's question stems on the NOTES side pages 3-4
  • Work on Letter to Mrs. Watson -- Typed Rough Draft due Tuesday -- hard copy must be printed out when you come to class. :)
Tuesday August 30th
  • Trade journals and answer Level questions from the "TCOMLH" use a different color pen to answer in your partners journal
  • Rough Draft check
  • Peer edit and self edit Rough Draft -- follow directions
Wednesday August 31st
  • Final Draft of Letter to Mrs. Watson is due at the beginning of class:  Final draft only.  Typed. TNR/12/DS/one inch margin
  • Summer Reading project introduction/examples
  • Finish compiling journals
Thursday September 1st
  • Library Day-- meet in the Library -- bring your journals
Friday September 2nd
  • Library Pop quiz
  • Literary Elements - PWpt and review
  • Abigail and the Pony analysis
  • Final day to turn in Membean/Grammar book money
